Moons At and Beyond the Edge
Two More Wild Creatures, Poems by Ed Crowley and Anrael
Sometimes someOne speaks my experience through their own direct experience (no experiencer)!
This inspiration from Ed Crowley:
(If I could give this poem a title—One More Wild Creature)
I generally followed John Muir’s advice and wandered into the forest to lose my ‘self’ and find my true ‘Self’ as One with nature I became one with every myriad being and thing, just one more wild creature I climbed ten times ten thousand snow capped peaks through clouds, where I wandered along with outer eyes blind Not having a particular destination I was never lost in body nor in mind My inner eye stays totally open seeing beyond Maya’s illusions There’s no more within nor without as the walls have dropped, revealing Reality without anymore delusions People wonder why I live up here alone in hidden valleys between unclimbable mountains where my open inner eye Perceives the entire Cosmos All created from “Original I” Gazing into other realms, seeing twin beings and things in exotic quantum entanglement with the doubling transparency through lens inherited directly from my descendants made of Icelandic spar How can you not realize one is never alone when one is the ‘thingness’ of everything that’s seen no matter near nor far I live in another world beyond the human one and wander limitless realms beyond the edge of infinity For in my world there is no duality Every single myriad being and thing is interconnected in the Oneness that is Reality I read poems by Ryōkan and Cold Mountain that are better than any scriptures, instilling peace and tranquillity that illuminates what was once the emptiness of my mind Now I wander unknown through mountain forests where the next trail begins with every step that I take I marvel as the summer moon swims each night in a crystal, clear, cool lake One day I hope you’ll join me to see all the normal things that I see that many call miracles, never seen even once, in a lifetime Up here in my humble abode amongst the mountain clouds You’ll see miracles time after time They will enlighten your mind, as in this place you’ll Realize, every myriad being and thing is One Consciousness sublime

Haiku by Matsuo Basho:
MOONS
I tried to get lost in the woods as a kid. I couldn't. I became a listening silence a moving stillness not disturbing a thing not breaking a twig underfoot a sky walking tenderfoot letting the birds continue to sing. I tried again as a teen a warm June day in Woodstock woods at Yasgur's farm before the great weekend. Stoned. I couldn't. Once again here, an adult in these San Juan Mountains hiking alone the trail ended. I went on. Pathless path arising under each footfall. Not lost. Not afraid. Simple ever here where I am I find mySelf boundless, free. The nonlocal temporarily localized making an appearance in the spacetime continuum. Now you see me — Now you don't. Here and not here. Everywhere and nowhere NowHere. Neither lost, nor found nor both nor neither. Eternity in an hour. Infinity in a flower. Just this moment incomparable. A summer moon. A winter moon. A fleeting sunset making a moon full.
This line from Ed says so much. It’s how I read inspirational things:
instilling
peace and tranquillity that
illuminates what was once
the emptiness of my mind
I hope that’s what this page is for us all.

Wonderful poems. Arael. Both inspire connection with source.
